Ten on Tuesday - Wine, Maleficent, and the Thyroid Summit

One: This is my second blog post, ever. Whoo-hoo!

Two: These two make me smile.

Three: My current online shopping addiction is Jane.com. Have you ever checked it out? It's sort of like Zulily, but more of the items are from cute little boutiques. It's dangerous though - one click and I can order everything. Ha! It's free to signup and you get an email everyday with awesome new deals.

Four: This wine. StarView Vineyards is about an hour away from where I live. It's located in rural southern Illinois and is the perfect spot to hangout on a weekend afternoon - like I did with three of my girlfriends this past weekend. Their wine is smooth, especially the Moonlight White, and vegan!

Five: Maleficent. The boyfriend and I went to see Maleficent in 3D this past weekend. Maleficent is my favorite Disney villian, and I loved Sleeping Beauty! But this movie was just ok. It had some really cool special effects, and it was a bit creepy, but I expected more.

Six: This recipe is the bomb - Chicken Enchilada Bake by PaleOMG. I've made it three times now, and I made it again yesterday to have for my lunches the rest of the week. It has so much flavor, you don't realize you're eating so clean. It's gluten-free, sugar-free and yeast-free.

Seven: Sephora made my day yesterday! I love NARS cosmetics, and their Powder Foundation in Fiji is the perfect color match for my skin. However, for the past two to three months, a lot of the colors have been sold out. :( Just when I needed a refill, of course it would be sold out everywhere - Sephora, Nordstrom, even the NARS website. But yesterday I got the email that saved the day! My color is finally back at Sephora. Yay! Ordered, and just in time, too. Looks like they're already sold out of it again!

Eight: Fermented cod liver oil in pill form! I purchased the Green Pastures Fermented Cod Liver Oil in the liquid for the first time a couple months ago, and, well, it took everything I had to take it without gagging every night. I deserve an award for making it through a whole bottle of it! But when I ran out, I ordered the capsules - with added butter oil. Hallelujah! Taking them is easy-peasy now.

Nine: 3 days! Orange is the New Black Season 2. June 6th hurry up and get here!

Ten: The Thyroid Summit. You MUST sign up for this! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last October and I love to gather as much info as I can on it. If you have any problems with your thyroid, or know someone who does, please sign up and watch these videos! You'll get an email everyday with new videos of real doctors discussing different thyroid-related topics. I listened to a video about how gut health relates to autoimmune thyroid problems this morning on my way to work. Very interesting!

  3. 1. Go you! I miss the feeling of excitement for posting. I need to get back in the game.
    2. Same here. Not them, of course...although they're both very nice to look at haha. I can't get enough of my dog or hubs. No lie, I turn on my phone sometimes just to see their scruffy faces.
    4. Wine. Yum.
    5. Had zero interest in seeing it because of Angelina Jolie. There's just something about her acting I dont care for...oh yeah, it sucks haha. Love the character though!
    7. Love it when stuff like this happens. Glad you got what you needed :)
    10. I was diagnosed with Graves Disease 3 years ago and had my thyroid removed via radioactive iodine. I now live with hypothyroidism so thank you for sharing this link.
