Ten on Tuesday - Ice Cream in My Coffee and Shark Week
Tuesday is already here! Yes!
One. Have you seen the giveaway I'm co-sponsoring? Enter here. It's a natural teething remedy bundle giveaway, and includes Tropical Traditions coconut oil, a Young Living essential oil, natural toothpaste and natural teething toys.
Two. Last Friday I asked for some positive examples of taking a leap of faith, so to speak, with making a career change or making a big move. I just want to say THANK YOU to those that commented with such inspirational stories!!
Three. It's SHARK WEEK! I'm fascinated by sharks and love all the shows dedicated to them during Discovery's Shark Week. I'm also happy to see that there are growing organizations and groups who are trying to spread the word about protecting these elusive creatures.
Four. How is it almost mid-August already? It feels like it was still July only yesterday.
Five. One of my new favorite foodie things is making strawberry "frosting" to put on my Paleo Banana Pancakes! It's soooo yummy! Here's what I use: 4 to 5 pureed organic strawberries, 1 1/2 tablespoons soft coconut butter, and a couple splashes of unsweetened almond milk. The consistency is like frosting on a cake. But the best part is that it's Paleo!
Six. Speaking of Paleo, another new favorite foodie thing I've been doing is putting Paleo ice cream in my coffee as a creamer. That's right, ice cream in my coffee. I make vanilla coconut milk ice cream with my ice cream maker and put a scoop in my coffee to sweeten it in the mornings. It's totally yum!!
Seven. Procaffeinate. I'm guilty of procaffeinating.
Eight. This girl has had a rough couple of days. A couple of years ago she tore her Achilles tendon on one of her back legs and had surgery to repair it. This week a piece of the suture from that surgery finally made its way out of her leg - 2 years later! The vet said it was probably like a splinter - uncomfortable, but not really painful. I'm glad it's finally out now, and I know she is too.
Nine. I need these boots. I've been eyeing these Minnetonka boots for a couple of years now. This year may be the year I break down and purchase them. :-)
Ten. Robin Williams - such a funny man, such a sad day yesterday. Robin Williams Quotes That Will Stay With Us.
Thanks for reading! :-) Happy Tuesday out there!
